School Meal Program
Capital Village Public Charter School is committed to serving healthy, nutritious and quality meals to children, with plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein and fat-free or low-fat dairy, within the calorie requirements for school children. Capital Village partners with Luncheras Di Si to offer breakfast and lunch free of charge to all students through the School Breakfast Program (SBP) and National School Lunch Program (NSLP). To learn more about our approach to ensuring environments and opportunities for all students to practice healthy eating and physical activity behaviors throughout the school day, please read our Local Wellness Policy here.
Luncheras Di Si, is a locally owned food vendor that operates right in the heart of the Edgewood Community just a few doors down from the school. They provide fresh food with impeccable taste for all of our students! They can also provide meal options for students that are vegetarian and vegan.
